Another painting resulting from my visit to India in 2016, this is the Golden Temple in Amritsar. We arrived in Amritsar in the dark and as soon as we had left our bags in the hotel rooms we made our way to the temple which looked spectacular in the light of a full moon. This painting features in an article in the July 2017 issue of Artists & Illustrators magazine whereby I have written a three page painting demonstration as a step-by-step progress through the painting process. All the colours were based around gold as befitting the name of this wonderful place .
