Pencil and pastel drawing in contemporary figurative style inspired by the moment when Saint Catherine of Siena gave her black cloak of penance to a beggar she met by chance. The tertiary sisters reproached her and the Saint replied: Better without the cloak than without charity. The following night, Jesus appeared to her in a vision and said to her with pleasure: "My daughter, today you have covered my nakedness: for this reason I am now dressing you in the golden cloak of charity". From then on Catherine never suffered the cold again and even in the cruellest winter she could go around dressed lightly. The warmth of Grace always sheltered her.
