The Globe Theatre near Tate Modern on London's Southbank is a lovely reconstruction of a theatre from Shakespeare's times. A wonderful theatre experience when we're lucky enough to be able to go to a live performance, and a very distinctive London icon seen from the outside.
This linocut print of the exterior, looking from the Kensington Gardens side, was made by hand in my studio. The edition is of 35 prints. Printed onto Fabriano Tiepolo (290gsm) 100% cotton rag paper, and signed, numbered and titled by hand. Each print is presented in a professionally cut, conservation standard mount. The lowest number available from this edition will be selected for customers ordering this print.
