Acrylic on canvas 70x60cms. 27.5 x 23.5inches
This painting is inspired by sketchbook studies of Glen Clova, one of the Angus Glens in the Scottish Highlands. It is a familiar place as I have stayed in the glen hotel each august for a couple of days or so. I enjoy taking my sketchbook out with me on walks down the glen. This view is towards Glen Doll. The colours of the rosebay willowherb, the wild grasses and here and there a bit of yellow ragwort influenced the piece.
Glen Clova is a beautiful place to be in.
The painting is on canvas and is sold unframed. It comes with fixings for hanging.
