Original artwork description:

I was inspired by a Dutch girl I've never met to capture her radiance and unusual grace. Her name is Emma. She reminds me of Grace Kelly. I love the gentle spray of freckling across her nose and imperious arch of her brow. It was a lot of fun creating this painting, playing around with the rose-peach palette and then playing up her incandescent beauty with the rose gold leaf around the edges.

Naming this painting was obvious once I connected my love of Vermeer to her Dutch heritage :)
