Her hair a reflection of her stormed emotions. A stare that looks deep into one's soul. Untamed, unwilling to conform, she walked along her side of the street. Only the blue ribbon she wore in her hair showed her deeper feelings. Tenderness, a need to be gently bound to another's heart. The girl with the blue ribbon still walks down her lonely path, down my street and past my heart.
This painting took two weeks to complete, with 6 sittings in total. Applying layers over layers building depth and tone which helps draw out the required emotions
Original painting using professional Oil paints on starched canvas 100x100cm
UV varnished to help protect against sunlight and everyday dirt and dust.
Sides have been painted so no framing is required unless wished. Ready to hang with a hanging wire attached.
