The Gift:
Flowers on the exterior - open the box to see the hand!

This is an oblong wooden box with little golden fasteners.
It was painted in my latter years in London and packed away when I moved to Lincolnshire in late 1992.
I've only recently unpacked this and the three others that I made at the time.
They've never been exhibited before so this is the first time they've been made available for sale.

The exterior lid-area is painted in a floral theme with two large flowers.
These carry around the back of the box in an entwined line.
Inside the box I have painted a white hand gifting gold and red lines.

The whole box is varnished so giving a subtle sheen.
As well as in my studio, I have photographed it on my sitting room mantlepiece by candlelight; I've tried to capture the subtle gold sheen too.

Signed and titled underneath the box.
Packed carefully and sent with a Certificate of Authenticity.
