Original artwork description:
The Château of Vullierens has an amazing Iris garden which they open to public visitation every Spring. Apart from hundreds of Irises in all colours and hues, the garden also has several sculptures, some small, some very big, all around the grounds. This year I went several times, taking photos and sketching on location.
This painting consists of three different sketches of the garden, done on location on handmade Khadi paper in smaller, roughly 14 x 9 cm "frames", arranged vertically.
This paper has irregular margins and is made with 100% recycled cotton rag.
I'll send this painting in a reinforced envelope using the French Post with a tracking number
