Drawn from life, and then from reference photos (as we are locked down here in France too) on toned, heavy, archival linen paper, using a range of pencils from B to 8B in softness, and highlighted with white chalk.
I really wanted to get the physicality, volume and weight of the figure down as best I could to emphasise the personal candour and intimacy of the pose.
