A day spent sketching at Claude Monet's garden in Giverny inspired this little oil painting looking through the garden towards the house. White Irises dominate the foreground and the garden path leads to distant ancient apple trees, painted with dynamic brush strokes and vibrant colours. The painting continues around the edges so framing is optional.
