I paint winter paintings very seldom. But if there is the opportunity I try to do my best to go painting in winter. Winter is a cold season in Russia. I especially like winter sunny days. I'm always inspired by violet shadows and bright warm light. This plein air painting was created in Yelets. The Nobel laureate Ivan Bunin lived and studied here.
The picture is author's and original. It's signed on the front and back.

Materials used: oil on canvas, cardboard.
Dimensions: 11,8x15,7x0,3 in.
Packaging: I pack the paintings in special paper, then I wrap them with bubble wrap, and finally I cover artworks with strong wood or plastic sheets.
