Photorealistic bird portrait of the Wreathed Hornbill in the tropical rainforest jungle.
I channel my enthusiasm for the amazing characteristics of animals by rendering them with academic oil painting techniques on canvas.

This exotic bird has a long, heavy dull-white bill with a casque of low wreathes across the base of the upper mandible. Below the beak is a colorful gular pouch, in females, the pouch is blue and in males the pouch is yellow. They are vividly colored just like the parrots or toucans.
The red sun is a symbol of life & the universe. The background is ice grey.
