This lady's flower stall was just at the corner outside a temple. I loved the combination of the red and the green of her saree. In India, you'll find such flower stalls outside every temple selling flowers and fruits like bananas, coconuts, etc. which devotees visiting the temples buy and offer to the deities. I wanted to capture her grace and her faint happy smile which I think I have been fairly successful.
This painting is made on a 300 gsm Lanaquarelle CP watercolour paper using Artist-grade paints. Signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
