The Fisherman’s Last Fish.
Painted in crumpled pvc canvas. The crumpling effect is part of the artwork. The reason why I do this as it seems to heighten hypnagogic hallucinations as I explain in my bio. This is one of the first few artworks that focus on my condition and the art created by it. The painting appears on canvas I used no reference images or had any idea what was appearing until I had sketched it out in paint. Once I had realised what it is I then use my technique to complete the artwork.
This will come in rolled tube and should not iron out creases or stretch to a frame just have framer attach to board or you can do this yourself. Pvc canvas is incredibly strong and durable and I can only do this crumpled effect with this material.
