This work depicts a Scottish fish shop, a rare and friendly place in a world of supermarkets, a place of marble slabs and sharp knives, a chill in the air, the tang of the sea. The colours of the work are lively and striking. Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
