The first day of summer is painted in acrylics on a thick paper.
The glare of sunrays is dancing on petals..the colors are splashing, and the summer just begins..
It was painted on June 1st, 2020, and refers to the 1st day of summer during the 1st lockdown.

Inspired by Delft painter Jacob Vosmaer and his "Vase with Flowers" work from 1613..
