Original artwork description:

This is the second drawing in a series of seven Pastel pictures drawn “en plein air” on a beautiful afternoon in Tamsui, New Taipei City, Taiwan. They were all drawn over the course of a few hours from just before the sunset to evening time as I sat by the the river. Tamsui is a town on the banks of the Tamsui River and is a great place to visit and watch the sunset. It was quite busy on this day and I found a seat on a wall on the riverbank to draw from. I always enjoy trying to capture the effects of light on water from life as the view is a constantly changing challenge. It’s fun to see the light and colours reflect and dance across the surface of the water as they change with the setting sun.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver to every country at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
