This painting gives the sense of people dancing at night, some twirling fire-sticks to the beat of the music. It aims to capture the sense of colour, sound and movement. The basic instincts of sound, music and rhythm makes us move to the beat, no matter where we are in the world. The fire that lights the night sky draws us in to move with its own flickering beat and rhythms, to interact with it, to understand it.
