Original artwork description:

This work was created during a period where I was exploring different ways of manipulating paint on the paper to give interesting textural and colour mixing effects. To create this work I first applied masking fluid to the paper using spatter techniques and allowed this to dry completely. I then mixed the required base paint colours and applied to the paper, quickly applied water randomly by spatter techniques and then overlaid cling film. This was then manipulated using my fingers to create texture and pattern in the paint. This was then allowed to dry for 24 hours before the cling film was removed. After a further drying period the masking was removed to reveal the final image.
