Original artwork description:

This pastel drawing depicts a still life of two halves of a papaya fruit against a vibrant purple background. The papaya halves are cut lengthwise, revealing their bright orange flesh and black seeds. While drawing this picture I believe that I was able to capture the texture of the fruit's skin and the contrast between the smooth, orange flesh and the rough, black seeds. The purple background provides a striking contrast to the warm colors of the papaya, enhancing the overall visual appeal of the artwork. The drawing is signed "Váradi 20" in the bottom right corner.
