Original artwork description:

"Bring me the sunflower gone mad with light." (Eugenio Montale): from here I drew inspiration in making this watercolor painting on cardboard that represents an impressionist style still life. Among the flashes of color, the light draws the shapes of a ceramic jug that welcomes two freshly cut sunflowers, whose euphoria of a radiant afternoon bathed in sunlight is dissolved in the discreet curtsy to the caress of the evening.
