Original artwork description:

This artwork is a large ink drawing in this series of works of one of my favorite subjects. It is a complex mix and interplay between very fine ink line detail and more expressive bold lines which create fine detail and complex texture.
Care is given to the original shape and structure of the tree but the main focus is expressing the 'essence and presence' of this tree from knowing it for many years .
This work is created on large 50x70 cm acid free 170gsm art paper,using high quality lasting black inks with archival quality , maximum light-fastness, acid free and waterproof.
The drawing has a 2cm white border all around it.
This artwork can fit on an A1 size frame .
