An Elephant and the Maid
This is my interpretation of my maids favourite animal (an elephant) and the city of mumbai. The city of dreams where everyone's dreams are sky high.


Everyone in the city wants to touch the sky,
As they feel it is not too high.
Work is the only thing they've time to give,
They've truly forgot they have a life to live.

Every print is hand pulled by me, and therefore proudly shows the various marks left from the rough surface of the Lino block, which furthermore give the piece of artwork that unique handmade quality that only Lino prints have. This is all part of the beauty of the medium and why I love Lino printing.
Please note Variations in colour of the screen are technically possible.
