Original artwork description:
A weathered face is always a challenge and this one was no different.However, I enjoyed painting him tremendously.With a great white beard and wise, knowing eyes this old guy is full of character.I used wet in wet technique to paint this portrait, ditching all of my small brushes. Colors used were high quality Daniel Smith; primarily Moonglow, French Ultramarine Blue and Permanent Rose.
The painting was done on a heavy artist watercolor paper and will ship rolled up in a sturdy tube.
