An original impressionist oil painting of the Eiffel Tower in Paris in slightly hazy weather.
Paris still holds a special place in my heart, as somewhere I used to reside, and on many occasions I would walk from my apartment to iconic monuments, such as the Eiffel Tower. Although I'm not usually inclined to paint the obvious, this is a rare small painting of just that.
It's painted on canvasboard (canvas attached to board) and left to dry for many months before being varnished.
Materials used:
Oil paints (Rembrandt, Old Holland, Winsor & Newton, Gamblin, lefranc & bourgeois)
