THE EGG - canvas cm.90x68
Symbol of the primordial origin of the world, the egg brings every element back to its original purity, purifying matter, healing the world from corruption. Moreover, the egg is seen as a symbol of rebirth, of purification, from its shell comes out the living being purified, ready for a new life. Without sin. The image of the woman emerging from the egg is immersed in a magma of colour, as is my custom in "action painting", to signify all the dangers outside its shell. A pictorial figuration rich in ancestral and symbolic meanings.
