Original artwork description:

This painting is an exploration of entering the underworld of Aaru. In ancient Egyptian mythology, Aaru, known also as the Field of Reeds, is the heavenly paradise where Osiris rules. It has been described as the ka (a part of the soul) of the Nile Delta. This is an emotional journey to an unknown place. Painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

Each canvas is 90 cm (H) x 230 cm (W). The sides are painted in the same manner so no frame is required. The painting was created with Synthetic Polymer on a professional stretcher.

This work was created on the 2nd day of Feburary 2022.
