The edges of remote lands.

As an artist, like others before me I have to push myself to try new things.

I've been experimenting with Ochre's and Earth colours in the pursuit of Australian inspired Abstracts.

Each study is approached in the same way any artwork is created. I continue to explore shape, line and composition until I feel something from the work. To me each one tells a story.

This one takes me to a place outback where the expansive land gives a natural wonderment. Knowing that beyond the edges of these remote lands there are more adventures to embark upon.

Warmth and layered with some texture. Up close you can explore the different techniques employed to give diversity to the piece.
