Original artwork description:

This small oil painting is based on a scene at the forest's edge, a scene captured during one of my long forest walks just outside town. For some reason, this little corner of vegetation made me think of Japan and the *shinrin-yoku* tradition.

No other place offers peace and refuge as a long walk through the woods. In all its simplicity, nature is the great healer.

This painting is framed in a simple, black frame and is ready to hang.

Materials used:

Professional grade oil paint on a primed poplar wooden panel, varnished for protection.
