Original artwork description:

It's day's end and the last of the light catches the tops of some trees in a copice near my home in Oxfordshire UK. It's a serene scene that I tried to capture in oil over acrylic underpainting on board. The cool blue and warm greens in the sky give way to warm tones in the trees reflecting the dying of this days light.

Materials used:

Acrylic, oil and cold wax
