The dreamer is in the dark with eyes closed, relaxed yet poised. The features are calm, red lips composed. The thoughts are hidden.
Portraits are meant to function as allegories. Each portrait is created by layering multiple portrait sources found in film stills, contemporary photography and 19th century realism. The final character carries a hidden secret which is intentionally left unsolved.
