Oil on stretched linen canvas. This piece is sold unframed. The sides are unpainted.

I was inspired by the Dove Constellation. You can see this in the star placement at her dress. The movement behind her is reminiscent of dove wings and feathers.

I have been drawn to paint in a more expressive style. This is the first portrait in this series. I will be exploring this style in future paintings!
