One morning in Winter,
I see so much colour in the sky over the North Dorset chalk hills,
I know it won’t last for long,
So I wait and absorb the scene from my bedroom window,
Before I go downstairs to put the kettle on.

Original impressionist watercolour on extra rough textured watercolour paper cold pressed Bockingford 425 gsm 200lb.
Wet on wet washes were applied using a three colour technique.
