The Dog days are over - oil and resin on wood panel - d- 100 cm - 2023
“The Dog days are over” is part of the CROSSOVER series, a series of works where the border between the abstract and the figurative becomes thin. This round characterized by bright colors mainly blue and green is an abstract work that recalls in its shapes and colors a seascape inhabited by fish and other marine creatures. The title borrowed from a beautiful song by Florence and the Machine is a wish for happy and peaceful days. This work was presented in my latest personal exhibition entitled CROSSOVER which was held in Athens in 2023 at the Domus Art Gallery.
