"The desert horseman" is a mysterious painting on solid wood created with black and gold tones, with very slight bits of pale turquoise and shades of brown red.
Through the copper gilding and the shadows of the painting, we can make out a Tuareg-like desert rider on his fiery mount, wrapped in a large black cape and an old gold turban.
Made mainly with the knife technique, the stains and shadows of the painting bring depth to the work and its mysterious side of unfinished forms.
Dimensions : H 23 x W 19,5 x D 1,8 cm
