Painting dedicated to March 25, "Dantedì," the date chosen to honor Dante Alighieri as the beginning of the Divine Comedy's otherworldly journey. The artwork is also inspired by one of the many cultural initiatives throughout Italy aimed at celebrating the 700th anniversary of Dante's death: an evening dedicated to the recitation of Dante's cantica, in the embrace of a tasting of fine wines and the branding on a barrel, symbolizing a commemorative seal. Painting in which I fused acrylic, ink and tempera to create a dialogue between expressionism and realism, through evocative imagery and bold colors that convey an emotional journey, reflecting human nature and the drama of knowledge. Intense and evocative work that radiates energy and inspiration in any environment with its vibrant and penetrating artistic presence.
