Original artwork description:

With the first light on the harbour, all the nets and cords of moored boats shine like they are made of finest silver cord...
The light brings life to still boats and makes them connected in space with each other, the shore and the water....
I was trying to capture this moment in time in my oil painting.
As well as using finest quality oil paint I've chosen a linen canvas because I wanted the smoothest surface possible for this painting.
