Artwork description:

For those of you who have visited the Yorkshire Dales, you will probably agree that the unspoilt natural beauty of the region is second to none. The rolling hills, fields and pastures are teaming with livestock and wild flora only separated by a patchwork of historic drystone walls. After enjoying this wonderful sight over some tea and cake, I finally had to move on to pastures new. Fortunately, I managed to capture this small but wonderful memento to cherish.

What I love best about this artwork apart the rich vibrancy of the landscape and its great depth, which can easily transport you away to the faraway hills and beyond.

This artwork comes complete with a traditional style wooden frame in Walnut & Pewter, and is delivered ready to hang.

Other frame options are available at no extra cost; please see details below and attached images. I hope you like it too and thank you for considering my artwork.

This genuine Limited Edition Artwork is 1 of only 15 in total. This means no more than 15 will ever be produced for sale. This Limited Edition number is guaranteed by the Artist and confirmed within a signed and registered Certificate of Authenticity.

I use a process whereby the original photograph is digitally modified to create artwork which looks part photo and part painting. This process provides a greater variation of colour and texture, thereby enhancing the original photographic image. To make sure the artwork remains lightfast (fade free) for generations, the artwork is applied to canvas using the latest archive grade ink technology. In addition to these specialists pigment inks a protective satin finish varnish is also applied which provides extra protection against harmful environmental pollutants.

I find canvas, aside from being extremely tough, provides the best texture and depth whilst the specialist pigment inks and varnish deliver wonderfully vibrant colours.

Materials used: High grade canvas; Epson archive pigment inks; Specialist acrylic varnish.

Size of Art: 24” x 16” (60.96mm x 40.64mm).

This artwork comes complete with a wooden frame and is delivered ready to hang. There are several framing options available that fall into four main categories.

Gallery Wrapped: This method uses a 38mm chunky pine wood stretcher frame and comes ready to hang. The stretcher frame is hidden from view as it sits behind the canvas artwork.

Traditional Wooden Frame: With this method the gallery wrapped canvas is inserted into either a traditional style picture frame (frame choice is yours). This option provides the best of both in that you have the beauty and longevity of art on canvas, inserted into a traditional style wooden frame of your choice. Please Note: Although the artwork size is 24” x 16” (60.96mm x 40.64mm); your frame choice will determine the artwork’s total outer dimensions. Please consider this when identifying your hanging space.

Glazed Wooden Frame and Mount. This option allows the canvas artwork to be displayed with an off- white mount and glazed frame (frame choice is yours). The frame comes complete with 2mm premium quality acrylic glazing that offers high light transmission and UV protection. Please Note: Although the artwork size is 24” x 16” (60.96mm x 40.64mm); your frame choice will determine the artwork’s total outer dimensions. Please consider this when identifying your hanging space. On average, the mount and frame will extend the artwork size by 110mm on each side.

No Frame: This option is where the artwork is supplied in roll form only; allowing the customer to frame it themselves.

Materials used:

Canvas; Epson archive grade inks; acrylic varnish & pine wood frame
