With "The cypresses" I'm investigating the human figure related with the environment in which it's placed. Here you can see a dialogue between a man and the nature. The painting suggests an ecstatic feeling, the colours give a surreal taste. This painting is made from a picture I took in a garden near Lake Garda: I was impressed by the height of the cypresses I was staring at an I decided to represent my feeling on the canvas.
