Original artwork description:

This painting is of a lovely creek in North Norfolk where my husband spent many happy days as a child, and subsequently returned there with me. I wanted to capture the peace of the creek, and the way that it basks in the sunlight, and the peacefulness of the moored boats. I painted it in oils with palette knife and brush.
The paint continues around the edges, so it is not necessary to frame the painting. It is fitted with d-rings and wire, ready to hang.
