I painted this on a scorching hot day at Montelparo, situated at the top of a mountain. I found some shade and got to work on the tower of this old convent building. It shows the building on the left, with a doorway, and a lamp to the right, with the distant mountains beyond. A wonderful place to spend time and paint.
