Artwork description:

This little copse of trees is found on the A30 near Lifton and marks the border between Devon and Cornwall. The Copse is believed to be in the region of 120 years old and there are lots of romantic stories attached to them, not least they are in the shape of a heart and were planted to show love. The official name is Cookworthy Knapp, but I like The Coming Home Trees, or Nearly Home Trees better.

It measures 30 cm x 30 cm and is made with Caligo Safewash ink on Somerset Satin 300 GSM paper, and is one of an edition of 8 prints.  The picture is sold unframed and unmounted.

A reduction Lino print is formed using layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block of Lino. This is one of an edition of 8 prints, because of the process of making a Lino print, each one has slight variations making each one of them original.

The print is numbered, titled and signed on the front.

The image will be sent securely packaged by Royal Mail.

Materials used:

Caligo Safewash Ink, Somerset Satin paper
