This is a painting of a favorite place of mine during my early twenties, Christ House in the northwest corner of New Jersey. It was a Franciscan monastery (back when I was thinking of becoming a Franciscan brother). This building is still there but it is not a monastery anymore, but rather a rehab center. Oil on archival acid-free 140 lb watercolor paper mounted on plywood.
