Original artwork description:

I just loved the playful exuberance of this family outing, with the boy running down the hill, mum with pram checking her feet for some reason, baby gurgling with joy and the red aired boy pointing out something, urgently, in the distance. All together as a family, all doing their own thing.
This is a steep hill/street in Swansea, one of many in this very attractive hilly city.
This painting, like many of my paintings, and particularly paintings of children and animals, is influenced by Ladybird (Penguin book) artwork from my youth, which I used to love.
