Original artwork description:

'The Circus Came To Town' original drawing is 190mm x 280mm in size. Drawn in pencil, pen and and ink on hand stained paper, "The circus came to town and away with it I did run...on legs as tall as stilts with stripes all the way to the top...we ran away all three of us to hills covered in polka dots".
Texture and detail has been added with the skinniest of pen nibs which creates lots of detail to look at close up. I love to experiment with abstract shape and pattern within a drawing and my imagination meanders in a happy way as I draw using words to tell a small tale within the drawing.
