Perfect vs. imperfect:
In 17th century and before, the universe was considered to orbit around our planet earth in a perfect circle, and the earth was created by God in a perfect state. After 17th century, scientists realized that the earth is not the center of the universe, and the tracks of revolving stars are not in a perfect circle rather an oval course. Thus, the idea of our planet earth being a perfect world was shattered. In fact, perfect and imperfect is relatively speaking, and our human being tend to idealize the world around us, especially in the early developing stage.
A circle is an abstract symbol, which exemplifies the world around us and beyond, and which conveys our way of thinking in many aspects.
