Original artwork description:

“The Circle” 92x118cm oil on canvas. Completed today at Greenwich Market_x000D_ _x000D_ This painting depicts someone trapped in the depths of profound depression. The two figures represent the same person. On the left, she extends her hand in a gesture of despair, saying, “I have nothing but fire around me.” On the right, she becomes the source of the fire, swinging the body of the dragon—symbolic of depression—fueling the destruction. The angels, embodying hope and help, burn and perish as they attempt to save her, yet the fire can only be extinguished by her own will. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them. This piece will be carefully packaged using protective materials and dispatched via a tracked courier. If you have any questions or special requests, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
