Towns or historic architectural features are interesting subjects for painters.

This work is part of the "Cathedrals" series, a series freely inspired by the famous novel by Victor Hugo: "Notre Dame de Paris".
If "Notre Dame", the building, is one of the major elements of our historical architecture, in gothic style, the style of Victor Hugo's book is romanticism, the true, dramatic, which is the antithesis of classicism.

This painting is done in a modern, graphic style.

The acrylic was used in thin layers, with two main colors of the same value : turquoise and salmon pink. The colors of same value give a sort of "linocut print" like effect. I found it very interesting to paint.

The painting will be delivered signed front and back, ready to hang with a system on the back, with an invoice and a signed certificate of authenticity. The shipment is carefully packaged and tracked.
