'Jewels' is part of a mini series of 4 colourful abstract paintings that are full of saturated colours and movement, based on the theme of 'Carnival' and the vibrance and pageantry that is often involved.

This particular piece reminds me of the bold jewellery that is sometimes worn by the dancers in costume.

All the pieces in the Carnival Collection feature gorgeous visual texture because of the rough surface of the watercolour paper and a bold colour palette of yellows, pinks and blues.

It has been painted onto professional watercolour paper using professional watercolour paints plus coloured pencils and measures approx. 6" x 8"

It will be carefully and securely packaged in a board backed envelope marked with 'Please Do Not Bend'
