This mixed media painting has been created as part of a large body of work for a exhibition entitled 'Inner Beauty'.

The exhibition celebrated the collecting of everyday objects to construct a world that creates our home. A place of security, safety and familiarity.

My paintings draw on not only my love of my home and garden but are also evoked by many childhood memories and experiences. My paintings reflect upon my home life as a child and events such as family visits to Aunties, Uncles and my Grandmother's home.

The Buffet is a nostalgic look back at my memories of family get togethers. On special occasions there would be a buffet. There would be cubes of cheese and pineapple on sticks, quiche,sausage rolls, scotch eggs, vol- au- vent and flan.

The artwork has white painted sides there is no need for framing unless preferred and it has been signed on the back. It has been fitted with chord so is all ready to hang.
